I understand that there is an on-going forum about a recent incident involving my good friend Dinah Chan and I at the Asian Beach Games that was held in Bali in October last year.

Dinah and myself are both National athletes and we do know that rules are to be followed.

What happened, how and why it happened are not important any more. We accepted the ruling and understand why it was meted out.

To our dear friends who are ‘ fighting for us’, Dinah and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are grateful for your love and support.

To those whom we have never met but meant well, we know you meant well.

You can all help us to move on and put the entire episode behind us. Let’s look forward to a wonderful year for Triathlon in 2009.
